Zooey Deschanel gives ET an up-close look at her new Tommy Hilfiger clothing collection.
Zooey Deschanel's highly anticipated capsule collection with Tommy Hilfiger, titled "To Tommy, From Zooey," finally hit stores Monday, and Zooey's giving ET an up-close look at her adorable first-ever collection!
"It was a lot of '60s silhouettes and a lot of Mod stuff," Zooey says about the inspiration for her designs. "Basically I started calling it "modical" because it's also got a nautical fee."
She also made sure that the "fun, pretty" pieces are figure-flattering.
"They're really meant to be flattering to a lot of different body types -- we really kept that in mind when we were working on it."
The stylish star revealed that she's been sewing her own clothes since her high school days, but would she actually wear any of her old-school designs?
"They were really short," she smiled. "Like, the stuff that my mom wouldn't let me buy -- I'll make a dress that's really, really short."
