Victoria Beckham gets a surprising diss from Dolce & Gabbana.
Although Victoria Beckham is often regarded as one of the rare stars to actually successfully cross over into the fashion business with an industry-respected brand, according to designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana -- the names behind legendary fashion house Dolce & Gabbana -- she's still not a real designer.
"She's a friend. She make a good job but... for us, she don't make the same way like a fashion designer," Gabbana surprisingly said recently at V&A's Glamour of Italian Fashion event via The Telegraph.

He went on to explain, "She's a fashion designer but it's another... it's different. John Galliano is a designer... Alexander McQueen."
Dolce later tried to clarify the statements, saying that she had more in common with significantly cheaper, commercial brands such as Zara and H&M.
… Talk about some serious shade!
Beckham, who has seen more and more A-listers rocking her brand on the red carpet through the years, hasn’t been shy about aspiring to have a lasting brand -- even an "empire."
"I want to reach as many women throughout the world as I can," she said about her career aspirations in an interview with T, the New York Times Style Magazine last August. "There are more categories that I want to enter into ... at some point I would love to do shoes, I would love to do fragrance, I would love to do makeup, I would like to do underwear. There are so many things I want to do. .... I want to get bigger and bigger. I absolutely want an empire."
Much has also been made of Beckham never landing the cover of Vogue – though Kim Kardashian and Kanye West recently made the high-fashion magazine's April cover.
