The 'Fargo' star ended his Best Actor in a Limited Series acceptance speech with a shoutout to his onscreen -- and possibly offscreen -- flame!
Ewan McGregor and Mary Elizabeth Winstead have had major chemistry onscreen and off, so it's no surprise she got a shout-out during his Golden Globes acceptance speech.
The Fargo star won the award for Best Lead Actor in a Miniseries for his portrayal of two brothers at the 2018 show, thanking his co-star, who he was spotted showing PDA with last October, at the conclusion of his remarks.
"There would been no Ray without Mary Elizabeth Winstead, so thank you very much," McGregor said. The actor, who split from his wife of 22 years last May, also thanked her, adding, "I want to take a moment to just say to Eve, who always stood by me for 22 years, and my four children, Clara, Esther, Jamyan and Anouk, I love you."
McGregor opened up to ET last April about "instantly" clicking with Winstead when they shared the screen.
"We just felt it," he remarked of their chemistry on camera. "This cast is extraordinary with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, David Thewlis and Michael Stuhlbarg and Carrie Coon. We've got some brilliant actors."
