Happy birthday, Luna!
Chrissy Teigen's daughter turned 2 on Saturday, and to celebrate, the model threw her an epic Sesame Street-themed party. Teigen, who had been planning the bash for weeks, took to social media to share pics and videos of herself and husband John Legend preparing for Luna's special day.
The couple worked together with their daughter to create an impressive Sesame Street cake, complete with Cookie Monster's, Big Bird's and Elmo's faces. Last August, Teigen shared an adorable video of Luna watching her dad's appearance on the children's TV show, and the special message he and the furry, feathery stars recorded for her.
"Happy birthday, loons!!! Mommy and daddy are killing the cake game," Teigen captioned a sweet video on Twitter on Saturday, before showing off the rest of the party, complete with giant Sesame Street characters made of balloons.
Little Luna only has a couple more months of being an only child, with Teigen expected to give birth to a baby boy in June.
During an interview with ET earlier this month, Legend revealed why he can't wait to welcome their son into the family.
“It’s always exciting because you never know what they're going to be like,” Legend shared. “You’re just excited that another product of your relationship and your love is going to be out there in front of you.”
“We're just excited to see how we're going to be as parents of two, and how Luna is going to be as a big sister,” he added. “It’s going to be really exciting and fun.”
