The show has resumed filming its second season, which will feature Meryl Streep.
They’re back!
Big Little Lies is officially back in production for season two, and Laura Dern took to Instagram on Monday to share a sneak peek at the shoot.
The snap showed Dern, who plays Renata, and Reese Witherspoon, who plays Madeline, sitting at an outdoor table at the Seaside Coffee Shop.
Leaning against the table looking demure, Dern sported a black skirt and jacket over a high-neck white top, while Witherspoon rocked a patterned dress and blue sweater.
“Madeline and Renata are back. #BLL2,” Dern simply captioned the pic.
Witherspoon then posted the same image, excitedly writing, “”Look who’s back in town! #BLL.”
The Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning series resumed filming on Friday. The coming season will feature Hollywood legend Meryl Streep, and the cast are thrilled about the new addition.
"It's amazing!" Dern told ET in February. "When I tell anyone in my life that Meryl Streep is joining us, it's incredible!”
"Reese and I were just [thinking], 'She would be so amazing in the role!'" continued co-star Nicole Kidman. "We didn't think we'd get her."
“We're determined to give her an extraordinary experience," Kidman added. "She's had a lot of experiences, so we just want to make it fun for her and vibrant and exciting."
