The radio host also revealed which Bachelor Nation star he'd like to set up with Danielle Maltby.
Don't expect to see Wells Adams in Vermont for The Bachelor Winter Games.
ET's Lauren Zima sat down with the radio host and reality star for Tuesday's episode of ET's Bachelor Nation YouTube series, Roses & Rose, where he revealed that he turned down producers' requests for him to join the latest Bachelor spinoff -- for a very romantic reason.
"I said no, because it's a dating show, and I like someone else," Adams explained. "So it's good."
"[I'm] very happy," he added.
Adams, of course, is currently dating Modern Family star Sarah Hyland, and even whisked her away for a incredible helicopter date to celebrate her 27th birthday last week, before meeting her parents over Thanksgiving.
While the 33-year-old's new girlfriend is no stranger to television, Adams said he'd only return to reality TV as a bartender, like he did for last season of Bachelor in Paradise, or as a commentator for Winter Games.
"There’s nothing about, like, speed skating for roses [that] sounds appealing to me whatsoever," he joked. "I would love to be, like, on the sidelines...I would like to make hot cocoa for everybody."
Adams didn't find love in Bachelor Nation, but he did admit to learning a lot about his love life.
"I honestly think that I just got to a place in my life where I was like, ‘I don’t want to be dating anymore. I want to find that special person,'" he said. "If that show did anything to me, it’s made me a more mature person in relationships."
"Every show that I came off of, I learned so much about myself...It's like therapy for a couple months, because you talk about your feelings a lot, and that's something that a man in society doesn't do a lot," he expressed.
As for where things stand with his Paradise fling, Danielle Maltby, he thinks she's better suited for another Bachelor star.
"I really think that Ben [Higgins] and Danielle would be perfect for one another," he shared. "The nicest person I've ever met in the Bachelor world is Ben Higgins... and the other nicest person I've ever met in my entire life, and, like, goes to Uganda and saves babies and stuff, is Danielle."
"Ben is like 6’6," he’s a monster of a man. Danielle’s really tall. Danielle’s like 5’10," but when she’s got those heels on, she’s taller than me. They’re perfect for one another," he continued. "Danielle’s one of my best friends in the whole world, and I want nothing but, like, happiness for her, and that’s what I think would be awesome."
