Julia Louis-Dreyfus' Advice to Struggling Actors: 'Sleep Around'

The beloved 'Veep' star had some suggestions for up-and-coming actors looking to get ahead in Hollywood.

Four-time SAG Award winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus is one of the most celebrated actresses in Hollywood.

She has won five Emmys for her work on three different, beloved television shows, and has been nominated another 10 times. She also has a Golden Globe on her mantel, and is starring in Veep, one of TV's most acclaimed comedies.

So what does this titan of comedy and acting suggest to all the up-and-coming stars looking to find success in the treacherous waters of Hollywood? Well, her advice is two-fold.

"Make your own work," Julia, 54, told ET's Brooke Anderson on the red carpet outside the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday.

And her second bit of advice? "Sleep around," the star said, smiling.

Julia also teased the upcoming season 4 premiere of Veep, joking, "It's a ball-buster."
