1. Charlize Theron

She owned this carpet. This was Charlize Theron's sixth time in Dior Haute Couture, having also donned Dior in 2005, 2006, 2010, 2013, 2014, 2016. The plunge was so sexy. Everything about the Oscar winner oozed Hollywood glamour. Her posture, her confidence. A true star.
2. Cate Blanchett

We are entering the era of Cate's elegance -- always the lady, the envelope pusher and a red carpet pro. Nominated for Carol, she arrived in an Armani Prive gown, which was in seafoam green, cap-sleeved in a mermaid silhouette that featured hand-sewn clusters of Swarovski crystals and white feathers. Cate is never the same twice. She's positively dazzling.
3. Alicia Vikander

Ballerina beautiful! This custom pale yellow, silk taffeta and beaded Louis Vuitton strapless gown was simply mind-blowing. This marked the Danish Girl star's first Oscar appearance, and she's an absolute original. So young, vibrant and sparkling. The silver sandals were the perfect accent as well as her dangling diamond earrings. And her hair completely worked with her entire look.
4.Saoirse Ronan

Loved the dress silhouette, the color and the girl! The Brooklyn star was in a custom-made, emerald-sequined Calvin Klein Collection gown with velvet straps designed by Francisco Costa, the brand's Women's Creative Director. Wowza. The plunge was perfection and something we haven’t seen her in before.
5. Brie Larson

The Room actress delivered firecracker excitement in hot designer Alessandro Michele's Gucci. Complete perfection for a first-time nominee. This may be one of the first carpets those hot Gucci gowns have worked. With stylist Cristina Ehrlich, they move beyond what's expected. Quiet drama.
6. Kate Winslet

In Ralph Lauren Collection, the Best Supporting Actress nominee arrived in a custom liquid black, silk lame strapless gown with that asymmetric draped detailing. Statueseque, regal.
7. Naomi Watts

Smokin! Sophisticated, and drop dead sexy. These are the words to describe Naomi Watts tonight. She's worn Armani Prive several times and this sleek column in sapphire and purple Swarovski crystals and sequins is even better than the last. Bvlgari clutch and jewels sharpen the look.
8. Jennifer Garner

Her Atelier Versace was really beautiful on the actress. She's having quite the moment here -- strong and superbly confident while walking the red carpet.
9. Olivia Wilde

The Vinyl star arrived in a strategically-placed, sexy, plunging Valentino Haute Couture, much different than her past Valentino gowns.
10. Reese Witherspoon

Very pretty in a silk taffeta Oscar de la Renta gown, she added Tiffany jewels and wore Jimmy Choo shoes.
11. Tina Fey

Draped in purple chiffon Atelier Versace, this was a total win for the comic actress. Her hair up and neat, her jewelry by Bvlgari. Everything was perfect.

The Best Actress nominee was stunning in an all-black layered lace custom Dior Couture gown. This is the third time she's worn Dior to the Oscars and this definitely didn't disappoint.
