that he would be hosting the awards ceremony live on Sunday, Sept. 18 on ABC. “Until
then, have a great summer,” he added.

This is the second time hosting for the comedian. The host
of Jimmy Kimmel Live first emceed the
64th Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012 when Modern
Family and Homeland took home the
top prizes.

He follows Andy Samberg, who hosted the ceremony on FOX in
2015, and Seth Meyers, who hosted on NBC the year prior.
While details about the awards show haven’t been announced,
there’s no doubt that Kimmel will incorporate his popular late-night segment,
