The stars look great on the red carpet, but how do they feel when they have to give back all those diamonds?
Oscar winner Cate Blanchett along with Kate Hudson and Julia Roberts were among the A-listers that sparkled on the 86th Annual Academy Awards red carpet thanks to their eye-catching accessories -- but what happens to those pricey jewels when the show's over?
Cate Blanchett rocked a nude-colored Armani gown with gorgeous opal earnings. But when asked if she got to keep the wardrobe, the 44-year-old Blue Jasmine star admitted, "I don't think so. I think everything goes back at midnight. It's a Cinderella moment."

Kate Hudson, 34, donned a silver Versace gown that floored Elle creative director Joe Zee, who was on the red carpet alongside ET's Nancy O'Dell.
Unlike Blanchett, Hudson said she actually got the keep the dress, but the "bling" has to go back at the end of the night.
Meanwhile, Oscar nominee Julia Roberts walked the red carpet sporting Bulgari earrings, but even the Pretty Woman herself confessed that she doesn't get to take home the shinning stones.
"I'm pretty sure there is a man somewhere who is going to be waiting for these," said the 46-year-old August: Osage County star, laughing.
